It’s been such an awesome couple of days, and the response to the blog has been amazing! Thank you so much guys for your support and wonderful comments on my IG! (@lamblovesthyme )
The best feeling is when you guys try the recipes and show me how great your cooking is, you have no idea how much that inspires me!
The next step is in this food plan, is to start hosting cooking classes, both private and group! I want us to get together and discover how wonderful food really is, how its brings us together, and how cooking for someone is the ultimate act of love..
My signature cooking style is easy food with lots of texture and flavor.
This puff pastry tart is exactly that! Sweet, salty, crispy and more..
I make this when I need I have unexpected guests, or when I wanna have something decent with my wine!
You’ll Need :
1 Packet Puff Pastry
Half Red Onion
Cube Of Feta
6 Rashers of bacon chopped
Chutney (Enough to spread on pastry )
1 tsp Minced garlic and chilli flakes (Optional)
How To :
Pre-heat oven to 180 Degrees
Unroll your pastry and place on baking tray, draw a border with a knife so you have a clear space for your toppings.
Poke holes so the puff pastry does NOT PUFF up!
Place in the oven and bake for 5 minutes then remove and place aside
Now, if you’re using garlic and chillies add them to your chutney and spread it all over your pastry.
Top with Bacon, red onion and feta.
Place back in hot oven and reduce oven to 100Degrees
Leave in the oven for 10 minutes, leave to cool and then- Enjoy with a crisp glass of wine!
